Safety Protocols

Important safety measures, including personal protective equipment (PPE) usage and hazard identification, ensuring safe operation and maintenance.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

• To reduce risk of injury or property damage be aware of your surroundings; electrical wiring and other piping which may be preset on (or in) the wall.
• System includes small parts which can be ingested by children under 3 years of age.
• Protect from freezing.
• Protect from water hammer.
• Protect from high temperature sources such as a torch.
Do not use pipe sealant or pipe dope on plastic fittings, only Teflon ™ thread tape should be used.
Do not over-tighten plastic fittings.
• Install system away from high traffic areas.
• Confirm system mounting surface will support weight of the system when full of water.
Do not install in direct sunlight.

Professional Installation: Must be installed by a licensed plumber to avoid damage and voiding the warranty.
Electrical Safety: Unplug before servicing. Use GFCI protection and follow local codes.
Water Pressure: Max pressure: 100 psi. Install a regulator if needed.
Min pressure: 50 psi (booster pump required below this).
Freezing: Protect the system from freezing.
Handling: Avoid dropping or exposing the system to shocks.
Chemical Safety: Do not use strong solvents or acids on plastic parts.
Sunlight & Heat: Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Pipe Fittings: Use PTFE (Teflon™) tape on plastic fittings. Do not overtighten.
Filter Replacement: Depressurize the system before replacing filters.
